BT TV is one of – if not the most – established name on the British television landscape. Their long history in British TV has been based around an ability to reinvent themselves to stay relevant – and in recent times they’ve certainly maintained that pedigree.

Perhaps the best example of this is their involvement in sport – which has fast become the centrepiece of their television operations. BT TV – through BT Sport – now offers great sporting content from at home and abroad. The centrepiece of this is their football content, which includes exclusive rights to the entire Champions League season as well as exclusive Premier League games. They’ve also got exclusive rights to AMC, the American network behind critically acclaimed dramas like Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

What does BT TV offer its customers?

BT TV has an ideal blend of subscription and on-demand content. This means that you’ll have some great programming to start with – as well as some great options to rent. The core of their offerings however revolves around BT Sport, which has exclusive rights to some of the continent’s best live sporting events. One thing to remember is that all of BT’s content is offered through BT Broadband. While this is a considerable benefit as you’ll save overall, it does mean you won’t be able to sign up for their TV programming alone.
